Let’s hope Kerry Katona remembers that dogs are for life, and not just for birthday presents.

The shamed reality star was given a cute puppy by husband Mark Croft for her 29th birthday last week and was spotted taking it for a walk on Friday.

But the mother-of-four would do well to keep the mutt on a tight leash. Just last month her German Shepherd Kai went missing after it escaped under fencing at her Wilmslow house in Cheshire.  Fortunately the former Atomic Kitten singer had the sense to have the animal mirco-chipped and it was traced back to her after being found wandering the streets by a local authority worker.

But as viewers of her MTV reality show are aware, Kerry has a habit of getting bored with her pets. During one episode the former former singer was seen sending her bulldog packing after she became sick of it going to the toilet on her carpet.The mutt was bundled into a van and she bought Kai as a replacement.
